Q: What should I expect during my first office visit?

A: During your initial office visit you will meet with Dr. Becker who will begin the process of evaluating your condition. He will discuss your medical history and symptoms with you, conduct a physical examination, and order any tests deemed necessary to accurately diagnose your condition and develop an effective treatment plan.

What should I bring?

A: It is important for you to bring your insurance card, and any required insurance co-pay. We also ask that, if possible, you bring the completed patient registration forms and old records if you have them. You should also bring any relevant test or imaging studies, such as x-rays, MRI or CT scans.

Q: Do you accept health insurance?

A: Yes, for covered medical visits and treatments, Eldorado Family Practice accepts most major medical insurance and health savings account dollars, but please contact your insurance company to verify if services are covered.

Do you have same day appointments available?

A: We will do everything we can to schedule an appointment for you if possible on the same day; however, if you need medical attention more urgently, please call 911 or visit a nearby Urgent Care or Emergency Room.

How do I have my old medical records sent to Dr. Becker?

A: You will first need to place a request and sign a release of records form and forward it to your previous physician. Dr. Becker can do this for you. Once this is done, your records will be forwarded to Dr. Becker.

Do I have to make an appointment for a flu vaccination?

A: No, we can provide flu vaccine at any time during business hours.

Is Dr. Becker accepting new patients?

A: Yes; although there may be a wait during busy times of the year.

Can Dr. Becker see my whole family?

A: Yes, he sees patients of all ages, but he is no longer doing obstetrics.
